Diana still needs to do hers...
Top Ten Favorite Pairings (of the moment):

Sark/Irina - Alias
So intriguing. We know that they were allies and I just have to know more about their relationship. I'm waiting (impatiently) for a Sark/Irina scene - I remember reading a David quote back in early November that said he'd be working with Lena soon, so my spec-mad mind has been just trying to figure out how and why and when and WHEN. And while it doesn't have to be shippy at all, I certainly would not object to any S/I sparkage.

Jack/Irina - Alias
Could this duo possibly be any more intense? I'm glued to the screen any time they share the screen. Or maybe I just want to see Irina topless again.

Christopher/Lorelai - Gilmore Girls
I really think that she doesn't deserve him even a little, but it's the only way I can get more Christopher. David and Lauren just have phenomenal chemistry - too bad TPTB put all their eggs in the L/L basket. Way to shoot yourselves in the ass.

Will/Francie - Alias
The spoilers have me thirty-two flavors of hyped. These two are perfect together and I love that they get to have something that isn't all about Syd.

Dean/Lorelai - Gilmore Girls
Yeah. I'm gross, whatever. I'll just say this much - the only times this season when I've even remotely felt something that resembled affection for Lor were the scenes she shared with Dean.

Frank Hardy/Nancy Drew
Shut up. You know you ship them too.

Hyde/Jackie - That 70s Show
I've always shipped these two, and now that they're together? It's all about the Badasses. Eric/Donna who? To steal a phrase from Pooh: H/J are the TRUE ship of the show.

Lex/Chloe - Smallville
Corrupted by fic. I just love love love this pairing. I mean, Lex? Couldn't be sexier. The thought of the two of them together - her curiousity with his resources - it makes me all giddy.

Jordan/Michelle - Lovely and Amazing
I just watched this film and I love Catherine Keener even more than I did before I watched it - if that's even possible. Jake Gyllenhaal? I never cared about him before, but the Jordan/Michelle scenes made me lurve him. I'm going all Mrs. Robinson on this list, aren't I?

Sark/Sydney - Alias
You thought I wasn't going to add it, didn't you? You should know better. Anything that get's Sark nekkid, right?

From Celli:

Looking back, did you write more fic than you thought you would this year, less, or about what you'd predicted?
I had NO intention of writing fic. I don't even think I was reading fic this time last year.

What pairing/genre/fandom did you write that you would never have predicted in January 2002?
All of it - but especially "Alias". I've only very recently even attempted "Alias" fic, and I really wasn't a part of the Alias fandom until a few months ago.

What's your favorite story of the year? Not the most popular, but the one that makes you happiest.
Favorite story? I'll have to go with Actually Feeling - somehow it was both the most difficult to write and the easiest to complete. I do think it's a bit schmaltzy and manipulative, and I never was pleased with the ending (by the time I got to the end I was so emotionally drained from the build up that I just wrote it to be done with it) but it was also a bit cathartic - as much as I hate that word...

LOL... it sounds more like I hate it, doesn't it. I guess I just hate my other fics more.

Did you take any writing risks this year? (See above for unexpected pairings, etc.) What did you learn from them?
I think that the biggest risk I took (aside from writing in the first place) was actually sharing my work with other people. I'm intensely private and tend to Salinger most of my writings (to the point of burning notebooks). Not to compare myself to Salinger craft-wise - I just have very hermitesque tendencies.

Do you have any fanfic or profic goals for the New Year?
To complete more fics than I abandon. That's a good goal for me, just unattainable enough to be a perfect resolution...

What Toy From The 80s Are You

brought to you by Quizilla

From Diana and Meg and Terra and everyone else who's done one.

How and why did you choose your screen-name? Well, I wanted to shed my old screenname after leaving an old forum, and Trixie's actually a superhero name from a story Jo and I developed. Trixie Firecracker and Cherry Bomb. Good times...

The story behind your lj user name? Don't use lj.

Are you a lesbian? That depends on what the meaning of "is" is.

4 words that sum you up: independant, loyal, honest, superior

Wallet? When I remember to carry it, it's a nice little black Frankie & Johnnie wallet. I have about a zillion purses though. Purses are my downfall.

Coffee cup? Usually a nice Wawa disposable cup. I prefer hot tea though.

Sunglasses? I have four or five pairs. Purple lenses, blue lenses, yellow lenses, purple frames and an old pair of tortoiseshell frames are laying around here somewhere.

Underwear? Currently? Pink Joe Boxers that say "Foxy".

CD in stereo right now? The Original Cast Recording of Baz Luhrmann's production of Puccini's "La Boheme" on Broadway. Yes, that's really the title. Right now I'm listening to "Oh! Dio! Mimì!" (although now that I've finished the survey it's restarted and I'm on "Chi L'Ha Richiesto?!" - this has taken me a while.)

What you are wearing now? My favorite t-shirt. It's green and says San Francisco and has a trolley. I  San Fran. Gorgeous city. Oh, and I'm also wearing pants. My "Monday" pants. Light blue, drawstring and fuzzy as all get out.

Makeup? Maybe once a month, but I try to wear it more often now because of my job as a "Beauty Advisor".

If you could get away with it and murder anyone, who would it be and for what reason? I wouldn't.

Some of your favourite movies: Oooh. Here's where I get long-winded! *deep breath*
"Go!", "Double Indemnity", "Nothing To Lose", "Say Anything", "Moulin Rouge", "Spaceballs", "Dangerous Liaisons", "Anne of the Thousand Days", "Rushmore", "The Royal Tenenbaums", "Bottle Rocket", the "Lord of the Rings" films, "American Beauty", "Notorious", "The Philadelphia Story", "Bringing Up Baby", "His Girl Friday","You Can Count on Me", the "Sleepaway Camp" trilogy. I could go on for a long, long time. I love movies, is that much clear?

Something you're looking forward to in the upcoming month: A new year. The newness and the silent promise that the new year will be better than this year.

The last thing you ate: A couple Mrs. Field's cookies - Thanks Santa!

Something that you are deathly afraid of: I get antsy around deep water. And I have a recurring theme in my dreams where I"m in a car being driven by someone (anyone) else and they won't let my out where I want to be let out. I'm a bit of a control freak. Losing control is a pretty big fear of mine.

Do you like candles? Yes. A lot!

Do you like hot wax? Hee. I sure do.

Do you believe in love? Absolutely.

Do you believe in soul mates? Not so much.

Do you believe in love at first sight? Not at all.

Do you believe in Heaven? Absolutely.

Do you believe in forgiveness? Absolutely.

Do you believe in God? Absolutely.

What do you want done with your body when you die? I don't really care. Donate whatever organs are worth having. Cremate me, bury me, give me a talking headstone (my voice, of course) that scares away visitors. "What part of Rest in Peace don't you understand?" "How many times do I have to die before you leave me alone?" That might be kind of funny.

Who is your worst enemy? Got to be me. I don't care enough about anyone else that they would be important enough to call an enemy. Hmm... "vain", "self-important", "snob", I really needed more than four words up there, huh?

If you could have any animal for a pet, what would it be? I'd love to have a baby tiger. But I'll just stick with my beautiful Gizmo.

What is the latest you've ever stayed up? I was the queen of breaking night in my high school days. I have no idea what the longest was though...

Ever been to Belgium? Not yet.

Can you eat with chopsticks? I don't even try.

What's your favourite coin? Probably a dime. It's neglected, you know?

What are some of your favourite candy? SweetTarts, Sour Fruity Twists, Sour Gummy Worms, anything tart and sour.

So which hobbit are you? Hmm??

made by Michelle at EmptySpace.

So which LOTR woman are you? Hmm??

LOTR - Which Helm's deep Soldier are you?

brought to you by Quizilla

You are Aragorn. You are big and strong- if even a little bit full of yourself. However- you are a good leader, and people actually seem to listen to you. The opportunity to order people around is one that you cannot let down. Battle is a good opportunity for you to show off your hard-core manliness and skill with a sword. Get a life.

Heh. Dude. I guess I'm a manly man.

Yes, Jenai... That'll do.
Jenai LURVES Sark! Weeeeeeeeeeeeee! She's finally made it to the Sark Side! Next... helping Jenai to unleash the Sark/Syd lover inside...

Okay, so the Christmas Season makes me crazy. It's part of working in retail. The Christmas music that's nonstop, the customers who are EVERYWHERE... it makes me nuts.

But last night the coolest thing happened. This middle-aged guy was checking out and was telling me about how he was picking up things for his landlord. And then he talked about what a great deal the half-price phone cards were, but when we totaled, he realised that he still had to pick up a sub for his landlord and wouldn't have enough left if he bought his phone card. So he put it back, and all was good. He moved off to the side to fix his bags and the next chickie that was in line just bought it for him. Didn't say a word to him. Just gave me the money and said to give it to him and walked out the door saying "Merry Christmas". That was so cool. I thought the guy was going to cry. I almost did, especially when the guy said "I guess I'll have to do that for someone else."... and I'm cold and dead inside.

Yay people! Thank God for sticking someone in that store to restore my faith in people... even just for a little while.

Updating, just for Jenai.

So, last night Pooh, CD and I were chatting about how fun it would be to do a meet up. Get the whole gang out in LA or somewhere and just wreak havoc. If nothing else, us Northeast US gals need to get together for the season finale. Make a weekend of it. We've got, what, six months until then, so that's more than enough time to make plans.

And, yeah, I saw LOTR: The Two Towers on Wednesday and I just adored it. Will be seeing it again next week when I take the lil bro and sis. That'll be fun. The second wiewing is the one where I play the "Pants Game" - you know, where you substitute the word "pants" into every line. That's some good stuff there - from the first film, we got some classics such as: "Gondor has no pants. Gondor needs no pants." and "A shadow and a threat have been growing ... in my pants!" Heh. Yeah, I'm two.

Spoiler Text:

Moving on, I am so thrilled with Miranda Otto as Éowyn. She is perfect for that part - exactly as I pictured Éowyn when reading LOTR. Can't wait to see her kick Nazgûl ass in Return of the King! And Faramir and Éomer were wonderful as well, although I was a bit surprised by the changes they made in Faramir's character. It was as if they had forgotten that Boromir/Faramir were brothers and not carbon copies. Eh. I guess it works though... I mean, it's actually a rather big (ok, HUGE) change, but I'll withhold my judgment on that until I've seen ROTK. I loved that they were so very different. That Faramir was so much more calm, and kind. I just always loved the fact that Denethor favored his son Boromir, and his rash, stubborn ways. It made the family relationship more interesting, from my point of view. Éowyn and Faramir are two of my most favorite characters from the book, so I'm a bit protective of them - lol.

Andy Serkis MUST be nominated for an Academy Award, or there's no justice. CGI or not, he was amazing. Spellbinding. Flawless. Just wrenched my heart out.

And the big Arwen debate? I couldn't care less. Film is an entirely different medium and Peter Jackson could hardly save her parts until after the credits roll on ROTK, could he? It's a part of the story, and I think that it was done as well as possible - I don't actually care about Arwen all that much. I'm cold and dead inside.

End spoilers. More blogging later...

And I'm getting ready to go see LOTR:The Two Towers! I'm so hyped!

I'll be back on sometime late tonight...

Okay. So last night Mr.Trix and I went out to dinner with a couple of friends -"Will" and "Francie".

We ate at Red Lobster (yum!) and I just have so much fun with these two. Francie is one of the funniest gals I've ever met! I mean seriously, she's just a total goofball. She cracks me up, I adore her. And Will's just one of the all-around coolest guys I know. Very laid-back, carefree and one of the most talented musicians I know. It's a little strange though - I went school with Will, and was really close friends with his little sister, but he and I were never really friends. Just friendly. And now I see him more than I see his sister, who works with me.

So anyway, they've been dating for about as long as Mr. Trix and I have been together, and I just found out that Will's proposing to Francie! He plans to propose when they go see the Christmas lights at Longwood Gardens this weekend! And I had to tell someone, so I chose all of you. ;) Feel special?

Don't forget to take Rhysenn's Alias Survey!

Everyone's been blogging about Fanfic Comfort Zones today, thanks to Robin and Jenai, and I just have to chime in, even though my comfort zone has less to do with pairings and characters than it does with styles.

My first foray into fanfic was a "Gilmore Girls" fic that began on Sookie's wedding day. I think I wrote three chapters (although I had plotted out many, many more), but I never did finish it. It was a huge sprawling mess - Luke/Lorelai, Jess/Rory/Tristan, Paris/Kirk (don't shoot!), Madeline/Dean, I just hated the idea of leaving any one out. So I scrapped that one and began "The End is the Beginning is the End" - Trory. This one also has several pairings, but somehow I balanced them enough to write seven chapters. At some point I started a third fic, "Ten Years" another Trory, this one a future fic. Also still incomplete. (Anyone notice a trend?)

And then the impossible happened... I actually completed a story and I did it in about 2000 words. I told an entire story, start-to-finish, in 2000 words. As many vignettes as I had read, it just had never before occurred to me to attempt one.

The fic, "Actually Feeling", is a very angsty Lorelai/Luke fic. Now, I really think the only reason I completed it was because I totally jumped out of my comfort zone. Not only was it short and angsty, but by the time I wrote it, I had converted to a total Lorelai/Christopher shipper. So, here I am, with a ship I could take or leave, and a style (and topic) that really made me nervous.

I like writing humor. I'm totally absurd (Shut up, Pooh :p ). While "Ten Years" isn't really humor, it's certainly NOT angsty, and "TEitBitE" is pure humor. I think I actually would have completed (still might?) these fics if I hadn't fallen out of love with the show. It's winning me back, slowly, but at this point I only watch out of habit, so the idea of writing about these characters just bores me.

Now onto "Alias". I've only made one attempt (again - SHUT UP, Pooh) at "Alias" fic. "The Mod Couple" a semi-parody based on the premise of Sark and Marshall living as roommates. The humor is a life preserver for me, because I'm really jumping out of my comfort zone by simply attempting "Alias" fic.

Grace, I was absolutely glowing to read how the Improv lists inspire you to explore new territory. I can't think of a higher compliment. You have no idea what a chore it can be to run that list sometimes. If it wasn't for you, Ash, Hito and Sadie I think I'd have thrown in the towel a long, long time ago. And believe me, if we get one more piece of Jess/Rory smut I'm gonna scream. Here's to hoping that the Alias Improv inspires fics half as good as "Spinning Dickens"! ;)

Dumbass Pooh fell asleep before "24", so I'm invisitexting my ravings - even though she'll probably read them anyway...

Dude. This episode had it all. Twist after twist after twist, and that little scene where Jack reminisced about Teri to Nina. Damn. That was a good scene. Seriously, I think it was the best hour yet this season - and I'm not just saying that to piss off Pooh. And now we have to wait three weeks. Sighness, dude. Cliffhanger City!

The terrorists turn on each other. Now that was a great scene! I so did not see the second gunshot coming...

Could Nina have been any more evil? I mean, damn. I knew she was up to something but I never expected her to slit Faheen's throat with that gift card. Way to make yourself valuable again. What a wench. I love (to hate?) her.

LadyMac is awesome! Dude, she's the big bad. Or maybe it's Lynn and they're just using LadyMac as a decoy. One of them is evil though...

Kim, Kim, Kim. *shakes head* Really, when DaddyKief tells you to do something, you need to listen. You're just lucky that slimeball reporter got out and gave his little announcement. Yay!MassPanic!

Mason is my newest boyfriend. And I used to hate hate hate him. He just tugs at my heart more and more each episode. And uh, tossing Reza against the wall was hot!

Tony is also my boyfriend. I'm just totally digging him this year - I think it was the soul patch that hid the Hotness-That-is-Tony last season. Oh! And Michelle - the scene with the blood on her neck... yeah, I got a bit teary.

Bob Warner is helping the CIA? What? Seriously? Cause even if he is... he's still slimy. I mean, that threw me for a loop, but a good one. I was totally down on him and the whole wedding subplot because I had no reason to care and I thought it was just so obvious that he was the skeezy one, not Reza... and now they pull this out? Damn. Nice swerve.

Kate. They kidnapped Kate and that Investigator! Wow! She's going to be useful now! Yay! Finally.

And the Kiefportation is going down! Noooooooo! I mean, any thoughts of "Jack" "Nina" and "Going down" never had anything to do with a plane! What an awesome twist! Who did it? What's the dealie?

OK... enough Invisitext for now.

Oh. This kinda cheered me up a bit:

Blah. Guess it's just Kick Trixie When She's Down Day. (Not that kinda down, you Perv.)

Where's Orbie when I need her most? Vegas?! She tells me to read Bel Canto, this beautiful, haunting novel and she goes away when I've finally finished it. And man... I'm spent. I'm totally drained. It's not the first time that I've cried reading a book, but I can't remember ever actually sobbing before. Curled on the floor, head on the bed sobbing...

I saw the ending coming. I think perhaps that made it harder to take. Like Moulin Rouge, you know she's dead, but you're just hoping that you misunderstood, or were completely decieved. Stupid hope.

It's not like I expect (or even prefer) happy endings - Thomas Hardy's my favorite author - but... gah. I just want to curl up in a little knot and go to sleep. Way to harsh my Wancie buzz, Dude.

Uh... Wancie. I have a lot to say about "The Abduction" and about the new spoilers, but not now.

And also... Nick needs to guest on Alias, like... tomorrow.

I should have been in bed three hours ago, so I won't go into my thoughts on "The Abduction" yet. But I will say that I thoroughly enjoyed the little bit of the Nancy Drew film I caught. The actor who played Ned ... *sigh*... Jenai and I were drooling over him all night in the chat. He's a nice hunk of man. So, yes, I actually enjoyed the lead-in to Alias. Mostly because of Ned, but also because it reminded me of my very first UC ship. Nancy and Frank Hardy.

And now I want to go reread the special double book with the avalanche and the ski chalet and the kiss. Cause they so did it. Shut up, they did! Really, I loved Ned - boring old Ned - in the books, but I still shipped Frank and Nan. I thought it was so wrong to want her to dump Ned and date Frank. Hee. Of course, I always pictured Ned as a Ken doll and Frank to look a lot like Nick. So, if the Nancy Drew show were an actual tv series with those actors, I might just ship Nan/Ned.Oh, and Joe McIntyre from NKOTB will always be Joe Hardy in my mind.

And now I want to read Sarkney fic where they're snowed into a log cabin in Canada or Siberia or something.

Sunday, December 15, 2002

I really really really ought to be in bed, but I can't - not yet anyway.

One) We just got caps for "The Abduction". And *thud*. How can I sleep after seeing that? I don't want to ruin it for the non-spoiled, but I will say this much: Alice is gorgeous. I'm so sick of reading that she's a hag. Whatever.

Two) I bought some new cds last night and I can't stop listening. Right now it's "Stars & Guitars": Willie Nelson & Friends. Now, I love Willie. He's amazing. He's an icon. He's one of the finest songwriters ever. This CD is phenomenal. I wish I had been there.

Ryan Adams. Jon Bon Jovi. Sheryl Crow. Vince Gill. Emmylou Harris. Norah Jones. Aaron Neville. Keith Richards. Matchbox Twenty. It's an amazing group of performers. And these duets are awesome. Right now, I'm listening to Norah and Willie sing "Lonestar" and it's one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard.

I also bought the Audioslave album - Chris Cornell, Tom Morello, Brad Wilk and Tim Commerford. They all pretty much kick my ass. I've loved Chris forever and RATM is one of my favorite bands. Period. Just awesome, awesome rock. I'm totally digging this collaboration, although it's not perfect - yet. It's a difficult combo, IMHO, because ideally, any group with Chris should showcase his incredible pipes, and those three musicians are so powerful that it's hard to strike the right balance. A couple songs nail it though... If you love Chris or Rage, it's a must-own.

Sucks so much. Bringing back all sorts of painful "Pasadena" memories. Big hugs to Megs, Gracie and Jenai.

Stupid FOX lame ass lameasses. I was about to swear off FOX programming forever, but then I remembered "24" and "That 70s Show". Damn. Well, no more FOX programming without numbers, that's for sure.

From Everyone:

Wednesday, December 11, 2002

Weeeeeeee. New layout! The green and red was just killing me - my least favorite color combination, in case you're taking notes.

I'm very happy with the new layout... especially since Pooh let me "borrow" her template. No work and a pretty new layout to boot! Yay me! Thanks SugarBooger!

"24" was incredible last night - as always. Mason had me in tears... again. I totally did not expect to find "Luka" in the trunk. Never croosed my mind until I saw the blood. That's a nice creepy turn of events. Poor Spawn. I actually care about her this year. And Kief owes me a new tv. He's just too darn hot.

"That 70s Show" was a great episode for us Badasses. As JoHoHo noted, Jackie and Hyde are now "officially" a real couple (And in my opinion, a more realistic couple than Eric/Donna, but that's for another time). Any doubts we might have had about the seriousness of their relationship should be dissolved. Although I will miss the beard. Oh! And let's not neglect Fez. Could he be any funnier? Him and his little man had me in stitches.

And one last little plug for the Sarkgasm Round Robin. The gals who are writing this are just brilliant.

Blah. Server's down for repair. Not sure when it'll be back up though. Let's just hope that it'll be back up when I get home from work tonight. Sorry, Sarkettes! ;)

Monday, December 09, 2002

Ok. Alias blabber.

I really enjoyed this epi, much more than I did "Passage Pt.1", I think it might have been the relatively miniscule amount of Vaughn time... or maybe just the return of Hey!Daddy. Y'all know I lurve me some Hey!Daddy.

Reading other blogs, I've noticed a lot of "Poor Jack. Irina is so evil." And yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if she did another complete 180 (and I really don't buy her explanation about Taipei - TOTAL cop out! - I guess "The Man" is still out there, huh?), but I'm expecting Jack to be the real bad one... there's just been so many subtle little hints. I still think he has the Ops Manual. I think he's the one Sark's working with, and that Sark showed Arvin a page from said manual to gain access to SD-6.

The one thing that really got me thinking (and loving!) Evil!Manipulative!Jack was the line in "Counteragent" where he said "We can't lose Vaughn." He knows that he needs to regain Syd's trust after Madagascar, and it just didn't ring sincere to me. I took it more as him taking advantage of Emotional!Syd. Sorry, dudes, but what did Bradley say in Wanda's chat? "Let's just say that in the next six episodes, everything you thought was true isn't."

Then again, that line really screwed with my head cause, like Pooh, I tend to make up elaborate scenarios where everyone (and their father) is Rambaldi. And I'm still convinced that Carmen Sandiego is the one the prophecy was talking about... I have proof too!

Umm... I was rambling about "Alias", wasn't I? Funny how easily I get distracted.

Anyway, to make what could be a very long and winding blog short(er):

- Lena Olin is the most beautiful woman EVER. Even if she could circle my waist with just one hand.

- Victor Garber is amazing. Just completely astonishing. Loved that expression he shot Syd when he was stowing Irina in the bin - that was priceless.

- Not enough David Anders, but what was there was quite intriguing. I love that he's always in the office when Sloane gets those calls. Makes you think that he's completely innocent. And perhaps he is... Love the phone call with Cuvee. From a spoilery wildfeed summary line that Pooh had shared with me, it sounded as though Sark was working for Cuvee. Glad to see he's still his own man.

- Hey!Daddy. ;) Rowr!

- Marshall. I love my little spaz. Although there was a hint of something sinister in that scream. *singsong voice* Marshall's got a Dark Side! I agree with everyone who wanted to see Sark or Dixon watching him from the hallway. Or both, since they're in cahoots.

- Dixon. I'm about two episodes from filing a missing persons report.

- Will and Francie. Hi. Bye. Dude, how much did it suck that the only time we got to see them it was tainted with Stalker!Vaughn?

- Stalker!Vaughn. That was just gross. I hope that it wasn't supposed to be romantic. I mean, if we're actually going to head down the path of Treacherous!Vaughn who's just like his Evil!Father, then ok. Good way to get us squicked. If not, give more of his screen time to Hey!Daddy, Will, Francie and Dixon. Actually, just do that either way. Thanks.

- Kendall. I'm loving him more and more. Big Bald kisses!

BIG shout out to Meg and Terra for helping me out recently.

Meg made me this gorgeous graphic for my Gilmore Girls Improv Archive and Terra designed the new layout for the Sarkgasm blog!

A million kisses to you both! Thanks so much!

Diana - I'm posting an Alias "art" using caps from the latest epi. Just to let you know... ;)

I would go into a more detailed rambling about my thoughts on "Passage: Conclusion" (and I may yet, HEY!Daddy...), but they say that a picture says a thousand words, so....

Wow.

Josie's done it again. I recieved an Amazon package just now - which completely surprised me, I started thinking really hard about whether I had accidentally ordered anything while I was browsing last week - and I opened it to find a gorgeously giftwrapped Extended LoTR DVD set. And my jaw hit the floor.

Thanks Josie! Mwah!

From Jenai:

Well, since Sark is not an option, I'd say that this is pretty accurate.

Who's your fantasy TV boyfriend?

brought to you by Quizilla

Your fantasy TV boyfriend is Lex Luthor. He's confident and exudes power. He's also unrelenting when there is something he wants, which is how he got you. Make no mistake, though, if he says he cares about you, he truly does.

10. Any bad habits?: Half a dozen.... maybe more.

11 Place you'd never be caught dead in?: Never say never...

What Was Your Past Life?

which literary heroine are you?
Which Literary Heroine Are You?
Josephine 'Jo' March is perhaps the most loved of the March sisters (from Louisa May Alcott's 'Little Women', 'Good Wives', 'Jo's Boys' and 'Little Men'). Jo is an aspiring writer, a headstrong tomboy and a loving sister. Generous to a fault, she puts the needs of others above her own and carries on the legacy of her doomed sister and best friend, Beth. To be compared to ambitious, devoted Jo is the greatest compliment - just promise you won't let YOUR Laurie go!

I do love "Little Women", but out of the choices in this quiz, Tess Durbeyfield is definitely my favorite character. Tragic though, I guess I should be relieved that I'm not anything like her, eh?

What Is Your True Aura Colour?

What Kind of Fruit Are You?

brought to you by Quizilla

One day I'll stop... really.

Hmm... the red-on-green is already on my nerves. I really should have went with a more "Grinchy" name this year. Hmmm... I'll work on it.

Anyway - Alias was fantastic! I'm gonna save my Sark-gushing for the Sark Blog, but I will say that I'm totally falling for Will. Good Will scenes this week - He's so on the verge of something... I love knowing that he can go in any direction. Awesome stuff! And also, Vaughn, trying to buy Will off - blah. Go count your forehead wrinkles, and save the money for new watch batteries, loser.

And the whole Jack/Irina-ness. What a duo! Eeek. It gives me chills just thinking about how unstoppable they would be working on the same side... not sure which side they'd be on though.

Honestly, I'm not the most "festive" person in the world. I'm not one who puts reindeer on the roof, or lights in the windows, or has a tree decorated anytime sooner than Christmas Eve ... I just get bored easy. An old forum I used to frequent started the Holiday Names tradition two or three years ago, and since it's so easy to change your name over at AS and on Blogger, I thought I'd bring the tradition with me.

Ten minutes till "Alias", what am I doing online?
